Quelques jours avant de partir pour le salon du meuble de Milan, je suis passé à l’appartement Caravane à Paris. Depuis le temps que je n’entends que du bien de cette marque, il fallait absolument que j’aille rencontrer Véronique Piedeleu la Directrice artistique de cette jolie maison de décoration.

La présentation de la nouvelle collection dans cet appartement Parisien, un showroom éphémère ouvert le temps d’une petite semaine était l’occasion parfaite.

Je crois que la première fois où le style Caravane m’a tapé dans l’œil, c’était l’année dernière lors d’une visite au Bon Marché. Le truc qui m’avait tout de suite frappé, c’était la couleur du corner Caravane aux milieux de tout l’espace maison : un jaune moutard un peu ocre, très puissant et en même temps très doux.

Et puis, même si ça commence à remonter maintenant, sur le coup j’ai tout de suite eu un gros coup de cœur pour les linges de lit, les motifs et les couleurs… tous invitaient au voyage et à la relaxation.

 

« Slow Design »

 

Moi qui étais attiré jusqu’à là,  par le design contemporaine, je commençais à sentir en moi une envie d’aller vers des choses plus naturelles, plus simples. La vie est tellement speed à Paris, que de retour à la maison on a juste envie d’un endroit où il fait bon vivre !

Le slow design, je crois que ces deux mots résument bien l’univers de cette jolie marque qu’est Caravane.

Je vous parlais un peu plus haut des couleurs qui faisaient partie de l’ADN de Caravane et bien la marque lance cette année sa première collection de peinture réalisée sans additifs chimique, voilà qui confirme bien ce que je ressentais.

Pour découvrir toutes les couleurs rendez-vous en magasin ou sur  l’echop Caravane, eh oui pour ceux qui ne le savent pas encore la marque a lancé il y a quelques mois sa boutique en ligne, ce qui est plutôt sympa pour tous ceux qui n’habitent  pas à Paris.

Perso, je trouve hyper cool que Véronique Piedeleu  a eu l’idée de décliné l’univers de Caravane à travers cette gamme de peinture maintenant on peut dire que la boucle est bouclée entre la collection textile et la collection maison.
